PASHANOJ appointed as Virtus.pro head coach

Esports organization Virtus.pro announced a change in its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Pavel "PASHANOJ" Legostaev was appointed as head coach of the team.

In this position, Legostaev replaced Andrey "XomA" Mironenko, who joined Virtus.pro in June of this year. The latter was benched by the club.

The club's CEO Nikolai Petrossian commented on this change:

XomA is a talented coach with a deep understanding of the game. We sincerely thank him for his work and dedication. Currently, Virtus.pro management, together with Andrey, is working on finding the best option for his future career. The club now needs to focus on the current challenges the CS2 roster is facing, so we will refrain from additional comments on this situation..

Since June last year, PASHANOJ carried out duties of an analyst in the team. Before that, he represented K23 as an assistant coach. According to the official statement Virtus.pro has begun searching for a new analyst.

Note that Virtus.pro placed 5th-6th at the recent BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 tournament in the capital of Serbia. In the second round of the lower bracket, the squad lost to paiN. Next week, Virtus.pro will kick off their journey at ESL Pro League Season 20.
