Rumors: MIBR may buy out one of Fluxo's players

According to Dust2 Brasil, Brazilian esports club MIBR is in talks with Fluxo about Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves' transfer. Neves' contract with Fluxo is reportedly set to expire in December of this year. It is not yet clear which player MIBR intends to replace in its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organizations themselves have not made any official statements on this matter yet.

Notably, by September 8, all participants of the Shanghai Major RMRs must register their lineups. However, teams have time to make additional changes until September 22.

MIBR was previously interested in Lucaozy: in May of last year, the club was ready to pay $280,000 for Neves' transfer, but the player himself refused the offer. Lucaozy has represented Fluxo since August of 2022. The esports athlete recorded an average rating of 1.20 over these two years.

Fluxo failed to advance to the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMR – the squad lost the closed qualifier. MIBR, in turn, was invited to the tournament directly based on Valve's ranking.

MIBR is currently competing at ESL Pro League Season 20, which is taking place in Malta. Yesterday, the roster won its opener against 9z in the group stage of the event.
