ESL overturns HEROIC's map win due to Snap Tap usage

Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski's squad forfeited on the first map of their match against NIP in the ESL Pro League Season 20 group stage.

The event organizers made this decision due to the fact that one of HEROIC's players was caught using Snap Tap. Earlier, the tournament operator publicly banned the use of this and similar features at all of its Counter-Strike 2 LAN events, starting with ESL Pro League Season 20.

HEROIC finished the first map of the match against NIP in their favor with a score of 13:10 (on Ancient). The roster also managed to win the second game. Thus, at the time of publication of this article, the scoreline of the series is 1:1.

ESL Pro League Season 20 is held from September 3 to 22 in Malta. The competition features a total prize pool of $750,000, which will be divided among 32 squads.
