ESL bans Snap Tap at CS2 LAN tournaments

Tournament operator ESL has officially banned the use of Razer's Snap Tap feature and similar scripts at its Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournaments, starting with ESL Pro League Season 20, which kicks off next week.

For now, this rule does not apply to online competitions, since, according to the announcement, the organizers do not have adequate means to enforce the ban. BLAST made a similar decision earlier.

Not long ago, the Counter-Strike 2 developers made an official statement banning the use of Snap Tap and various scripts that offer a similar effect on the game's official servers.

ESL Pro League Season 20 will be held from September 3 to 22 in Malta. The event will feature a total prize pool of $750,000. The full team list for the competition and the seeding of squads in the group stage of the event can be found via the link.
