G2 through to IEM Cologne 2024 playoffs; NAVI to compete in semi-finals

In Cologne, Germany, another participant of the IEM Cologne 2024 final stage has been determined – G2 has secured a ticket to the playoffs.

In the lower bracket final of Group A, Janusz "⁠Snax" Pogorzelski's squad defeated paiN with a scoreline of 2:0 (13:6 on Nuke, 13:1 on Mirage). The Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt-led roster finished the event in 7th-8th place and received $24,000 in prize money.

In addition, today the first semi-finalist of IEM Cologne 2024 has been determined: in a match for reaching the top-4 of the competition, NAVI bested SAW with a scoreline of 2:1 (9:13 on Nuke, 13:2 on Ancient, 13:6 on Inferno). Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes' team will kick off their journey in the playoffs from the quarter-finals of the tournament bracket.
