BC.Game benches joel

BC.Game esports club, sponsored by the crypto casino of the same name, removed Joel "joel" Holmlund from the team's starting five after a scandal with a ban from Akros anti-cheat.

The organization initiated its own investigation into the situation – until it is completed, Holmlund will stay on the bench. The announcement was published on BC.Game's X social media account.

We are currently conducting our own investigation to thoroughly examine the claims made. Naturally, we want to support Joel during these suspicions until evidence is presented to us in black and white. Our priority is to uphold the integrity of the game and our organization.

BC.Game Esports strongly opposes cheating in any form, and for that reason, we have removed Joel from the current roster. Despite previous suspicions, we chose to place our trust in a young player who had made previous missteps.

At this moment, we cannot provide further comments because, like you, we are in the dark. We will update with information as soon as we know more.

Note that on August 4, 19-year-old Swedish esports athlete joel was banned by Akros anti-cheat during an official match against B8 at the CCT Season 2 Europe Series 7 online tournament. The organizers disqualified the roster from the competition. Soon after, BC.Game was suspended from participating in two more events.

 BC.Game are now:

 Guy "anarkez" Trachtman
 Aleksandar "CacaNito" Kjulukoski
 Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson
 Luca "pr1metapz" Voigt

 Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács (coach)
