EWC 2024 EVPs and best five revealed

HLTV unveiled a list of esports athletes awarded the title of exceptionally valuable players (EVP) based on the results of the recent Esports World Cup 2024 tournament.

The EVP title was awarded to players who showed outstanding performance at the event, but were not crowned the MVP. These included representatives of G2, NAVI and MOUZ. The full list of such esports athletes looks as follows:

  •  Nikola "NiKo" Kovać (G2);
  •  Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov (NAVI);
  •  Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo (MOUZ);
  •  Justinas "jL" Lekavicius (NAVI).

In addition, the HLTV authors revealed an all-star roster featuring the best players of Esports World Cup 2024 in each role – it included three representatives of NAVI and one player from G2 and MOUZ each.

Esports World Cup 2024 took place from July 17 to 21 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The event featured a prize pool of one million US dollars. In the final, NAVI defeated G2 with a scoreline of 2:1. Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy was named the most valuable player of the tournament according to HLTV.
