NAVI wins Esports World Cup 2024
Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen's squad won one of the largest Counter-Strike 2 tournaments of 2024 – Esports World Cup 2024.
In the final of the competition, NAVI defeated G2 with a scoreline of 2:1 – 14:16 on Ancient, 13:6 on Nuke, 13:6 on Inferno.
For first place, NAVI received 400,000 US dollars; the runner-up earned $175,000. 3rd-4th place at the event was shared by Virtus.pro and MOUZ – teams got $85,000 each.
Esports World Cup 2024 took place from July 17 to 21 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The tournament featured a prize pool of one million US dollars.
