VP.Prodigy player becomes stand-in for AMKAL

Member of Virtus.pro's youth roster Vladimir "shady" Karelin will compete for AMKAL at the upcoming Skyesports Masters 2024 tournament in India, which will be held next week.

Karelin will replace Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov, who recently moved to Cloud9. "Stand-in for one tournament, but who knows..." states AMKAL's official announcement, published on the organization's Telegram channel.

Karelin has been representing VP.Prodigy since June of last year. The average rating of the 21-year-old Russian esports athlete is 1.10.

Skyesports Masters 2024 will take place from July 23 to 28 in Mumbai, India, at the Taj Lands End venue. The event will feature a prize pool of $300,000. The full team list for the competition can be found in our article.
