Liquid removes zews from head coach position

Dutch club Liquid has once again announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster – coach Wilton "zews" Prado has officially departed the team. The organization has not yet unveiled a new coach of the roster.

The Brazilian esports athlete has guided Liquid since December of last year. With him, the squad failed to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 and Esports World Cup 2024. They also secured 7th-8th place at IEM Dallas 2024, placed second at CCT Global Finals 2024 and entered the top 8 at ESL Pro League Season 19.

Last week, Liquid benched IGL and AWPer Casper "cadiaN" Møller. Another player may part ways with the team in the near future – Felipe "skullz" Medeiros. According to rumors, the Brazilian will move to FURIA.

Due to the roster changes, Liquid immediately lost three positions in the ranking of the world's strongest teams according to HLTV – the squad dropped to No. 14, having been overtaken by The MongolZ, 9z and Eternal Fire.

Liquid's current lineup looks as follows:

 Keith "NAF" Markovic
 Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis
 Felipe "skullz" Medeiros
 Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
