G2 secure IEM Dallas 2024 trophy

The Nikola "NiKo" Kovač-led roster won the big LAN tournament IEM Dallas 2024, which took place from May 27 to June 2 in Dallas, USA.

In the final, G2 defeated Vitality with a scoreline of 2:1 – 19:16 on Inferno, 16:13 on Anubis, 13:8 on Nuke.

En route to the final, the squad eliminated two more opponents from the tournament – FaZe and 9z. Before advancing to the playoffs, G2 placed third in their group, losing only to one opponent – Vitality.

For the first place, G2 received $100,000 and a ticket to IEM Cologne 2024. The runner-up secured $42,000. 9z and Team Spirit, which shared 3rd-4th place, earned $20,000 each. The total prize pool of the event was a quarter of a million US dollars.
