Stewie2K will compete for G2 at IEM Dallas 2024

American esports athlete Jake "Stewie2K" Yip was officially registered for G2 at the upcoming IEM Dalas 2024 tournament, which kicks off at the end of the month. HLTV reported this citing a document from ESL.

At the event Stewie2K will replace team's IGL Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, who will not be able to attend it for personal reasons – the player will be celebrating his sister's wedding at this time.

Note that Stewie2K has been inactive since 2022. In March of 2024, he joined Legacy for a trial period, but already in early May it became known that the club did not plan to continue cooperation with him.

IEM Dallas 2024 will be held from May 27 to June 2 in Dallas, USA. 16 teams will compete for a prize pool of $250,000 and an invite to IEM Cologne 2024. The full team list can be found via the link.
