Number of matches canceled due to detection of irregular gameplay increased in CS2
There has been a sharp increase in the number of matches being canceled on official servers due to detection of irregular gameplay. Data-miner Maxim "Gabe Follower" Poletaev reported this via his Twitter account.
In this case, the players of the canceled match are banned from the competitive mode for one day. Gabe Follower suggests that the developers have set this duration of the cooldown in order to send a match demo for review to Overwatch.
Note that yesterday, a large-scale wave of players' bans was noticed directly during matches, specifying the reason: "Account is Convicted". As Gabe Follower reported, the number of bans amounts to "hundreds, if not thousands".
Notably, on April 26, CS2 received a big update, which introduced the Overwatch system. Unlike CS:GO, not all players can review demos of suspicious matches, but only "trusted partners".
