CS2's peak player count exceeds 1.5 million users

According to the Steam Charts service, Counter-Strike 2 has set a new peak player count record. Today, March 9, there were recorded 1,517,678 concurrent players on the servers of Valve's shooter.

CS2's audience sets player count record for the second time in the last 7 days. On the previous Sunday the game peaked at 1,497,245 users, which was the best result since the full release of the new version of Counter-Strike.

Notably, in early March the average player count also saw some improvement. Compared to the previous month, the increase is 5%.

At the end of February, peak player count reached 1,347,519 users, while the average player count sat at 786.6K.
