HLTV.org: NIP to replace headtr1ck, k0nfig and es3tag

Swedish organization NIP plans to make major changes, re-assembling the roster around Fredrik "REZ" Sterner and Alejandro "alex" Masanet, as discovered by HLTV.org journalists.

Reportedly, the Ninjas intend to bid farewell to Daniil "headtr1ck" Valitov, Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke and Patrick "es3tag" Hansen. The decision was made after the team's failure at PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Europe RMR A, where it suffered three losses and secured last place.

Note that headtr1ck and k0nfig have been competing for NIP since January 2023, while es3tag joined the club in November 2021. However, Hansen spent almost the entire last year inactive, returning to the starting five in October.
