shoxʼs team wins LAN tournament from BLAST in Malaysia

Team Marcos, the mentor of which was the famous French esports athlete Richard "shox" Papillon, won BLAST The Draft Season 1 Finals. In the final of the LAN tournament, held from February 8 to 11 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Indian roster defeated Kenny "kennyS" Schrub's True Rippers with a scoreline of 3:2 – 13:11 on Vertigo, 13:7 on Ancient, 11:13 on Mirage, 8:13 on Inferno and 13:3 on Overpass.

Marcos kicked off the event with two victories against Pak Boyz and Come Mid, but then the team lost to True Rippers and fell to the lower bracket final. Here the team bested Pak Boyz once again.

Note that shox became the best player of BLAST The Draft Season 1 Finals. The Frenchman recorded an average rating of 1.54 for 14 maps played. Marcos also secured $20K for winning the tournament.
