EPL: "ESIC is a self-proclaimed judging organization with a questionable reputation"

European Pro League organizers do not recognize Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) as a trusted and honest organization. The tournament operator has published a corresponding statement via its social media accounts.

The public expression of lack of trust towards ESIC was a reaction to the decision of the The Prodigies' management, which yesterday, January 17, denied cheating allegations towards their player, to initiate proceedings under the auspices of the Commission. Previously, EPL banned Alvar "consss" Rämman, publishing a video analyzing his suspicious actions in the match against MOUZ NXT.

Note that the European Pro League organizers called ESIC "a self-proclaimed judging organization with a questionable reputation" and treat The Prodigies' decision as a threat.

It is currently unknown whether ESIC is looking into the conflict between EPL and The Prodigies with consss. The Commission did not comment on the parties' statements.
