TaZ announced as G2 Head Coach

Former professional player Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas, known for his stints with Virtus.pro, has become the new coach of the G2 roster. The club announced this via its social media accounts.

G2 were forced to look for a new coach for the team after Jan "Swani" Müller departed the club. The German specialist said that the heavy workload and tight schedule of working with the Samurai had a toll on his health.

For TaZ, joining G2 marks his debut as a coach. He has been competing as a professional player since 2001, while his career peaked from 2014-2018, when he represented Virtus.pro. Since March of this year, the 37-year-old Pole has not been active in any way on the pro scene, having closed his project called HONORIS.

The upcoming G2 matches will take place this week. The team will travel to Abu Dhabi to participate in BLAST Premier World Final 2023, which will take place from December 13 to 17.

G2's current lineup looks as follows:

 Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
 Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač
 Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov
 Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen
Nemanja "nexa" Isaković

 Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas (coach)
