PGL announces locations for upcoming RMR tournaments

Tournament operator PGL, which will organize the upcoming Major, unveiled the venues for the qualifiers. A corresponding press release was published on the company's official website.

PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 RMRs will be hosted by Romania, Mexico and China. 32 contenders for the spot at the Major from Europe will gather in Bucharest, 16 American rosters will compete in Monterey, while 8 of the strongest trams from Asia will determine the strongest in Shanghai.

Open qualifiers in all regions will be organized via Challengermode. Teams that placed in the top 16 of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 and retained a core of three players will skip the two-stage online qualifiers and receive a direct invite to RMRs.

PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 will take place from March 17 to 31, becoming the first official Major in Counter-Strike 2. 24 participants will compete for a prize pool of $1.25 million.
