Counter-Strike 2 average player count continues to plummet

Data from the analytical service Steam Charts indicates a continued decline in Counter-Strike 2's average player count. In November, there was nearly a 10% drop in this number compared to the previous month, during which the game also saw a 19% decline in player activity.

Given Valve's new shooter recording a result of 976.1K users in September, the game is experiencing a rapid decline in popularity. In November, the average player count of the game was only 714.5K users.

The current number is the worst in 2023. Peak player count is also the lowest since last December at 1,161,043 users.
