nexa replaces jks in G2

Serbian esports athlete Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, who parted ways with OG earlier today, has signed a contract with G2. The Samurai announced this via their social media accounts.

As it was expected based on the information shared by journalists, Isaković replaced Justin "jks" Savage. The official announcement does not specify the role that will be filled by the newcomer, who competed as IGL before, including his previous stints with G2, but now assumes the position of an anchor.

Savage has represented G2 since August 2022. Together with him, the team won BLAST Premier World Final 2022, IEM Katowice 2023 and IEM Cologne 2023, as well as showed good results at a number of other prestigious tournaments.

The nearest tournament for the European team will be BLAST Premier World Final 2023. The competition for $1 million will take place from December 13 to 17 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

G2's current lineup looks as follows:

 Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
 Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač
 Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov
 Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen
Nemanja "nexa" Isaković

Jan "Swani" Müller (coach)
