HLTV.org: G2 bench jks and expect to return nexa

Australian esports athlete Justin "jks" Savage has been benched as part of G2's roster restructuring. This information was reported by HLTV.org and 1pv.fr journalists.

The reasons for the decision to exclude the player from the main roster have not been disclosed. Savage has represented G2 since August 2022 and helped them to win IEM Katowice 2022, BLAST Premier World Final 2022, IEM Katowice 2023, and IEM Cologne 2023.

At the moment, the Samurai's management has not decided on a replacement for jks. One of the candidates is G2's former IGL Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, who currently competes for OG.

According to the source, if nexa returns to his former club, he will do so as a free agent and take on the anchor role, rather than the usual position of the in-game leader.

According to the announced G2's plans, the lineup could look as follows:

 Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
 Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač
 Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov
 Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen
Nemanja "nexa" Isaković
