HLTV.org: Astralis agree on transfer of stavn and jabbi from Heroic

Danish organization Astralis has reached an agreement with Heroic on the transfer of Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "⁠jabbi⁠" Nygaard, as discovered by HLTV.org journalists.

Reportedly, the club managed to reach an agreement with the rival on the buyouts of the players' contracts. The deal should be officially closed soon.

stavn and jabbi departed Heroic's starting five at the end of October. According to the organization's official statement, Lund and Nygaard agreed to extend their contracts in exchange for parting ways with Casper "cadiaN" Møller. However, later both esports athletes decided to continue their careers in Astralis.

It is unknown who will be replaced by stavn and jabbi in Astralis. The trio of Christian "Buzz" Andersen, Victor "Staehr" Staehr and Johannes "b0RUP" Borup are under a threat, as Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and Nikolai "device" Reedtz have recently renewed their contracts with the organization.

If the transfer takes place in the near future, Lund and Nygaard will still not be able to debut for the new team at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023 due to the roster lock.
