HLTV.org: dav1g to replace alex as Movistar Riders IGL

Movistar Riders has decided on a replacement for their in-game leader Alejandro "alex" Masanet, who is close to moving to NIP. According to HLTV.org, the Spanish club intends to return David "dav1g" Granado Bermudo to the team.

dav1g has already competed for Movistar Riders from spring 2021 to summer 2023, when he was excluded from the starting five. Then, Adam "adamS" Marian was signed to replace him.

Notably, while on Movistar Riders' bench, Granado Bermudo assembled a roster under Project G tag. Together with this team, the Spaniard participated in several tier 2 tournaments.

dav1g is expected to debut as the new IGL of Movistar Riders on October 16, when ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023 Europe Closed Qualifier kicks off.
