HLTV.org: alex joins NIP

Swedish club NIP is close to signing Alejandro "alex" Masanet from Movistar Riders to replace IGL Hampus "hampus" Poser, as reported by HLTV.org.

Masanet had no intention of departing his current club until the expiry of his contract at the end of the year. However, NIP has reached an agreement with all parties and is now ready to ink a deal with the esports athlete.

alex has been Movistar Riders' IGL since 2017. Together with the team, he won several domestic titles and ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023, as well as reached the semi-finals of IEM Cologne 2022.

Reportedly, the Spaniard will miss CS Asia Championships 2023. Masanet's debut tournament for NIP will be BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023.
