mezii departs fnatic amid rumors of moving to Vitality

British organization fnatic has announced parting ways with William "mezii⁠" Merriman. The Briton is expected to join Vitality, replacing Emil "Magisk" Reif.

mezii⁠ has been playing for fnatic since August 2021. Together with the team, he won DreamHack Open November 2021, REPUBLEAGUE Season 2 and Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, as well as reached the IEM Rio Major 2022 playoffs.

At the same time, fnatic announced their readiness to rebuild the team. The British club intends to form a world-class roster to achieve high goals.
