Lobanjica criticizes Asia RMR organizers

Twisted Minds' Mikola "Lobanjica" Mijomanović took it to Twitter to criticize the tournament operator MESA for the poor organization of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Asia RMR. The Montenegrin outlined a number of shortcomings that he and other participants of the Asia RMR had to encounter.

First of all, Mijomanović was surprised that the organizers recruited volunteers who worked at the event without getting paid. However, BLAST staff still stood behind them and ran all the processes.

The guys from MESA (as they told us, admin behind us, security in front of room and player manager from MESA) were all volunteers who weren't getting paid and we saw that behind the scenes there were admins and people from Europe (I assume) working for BLAST (since the admins told us that the main admins and BLAST staff decide and command them everything), especially the main admins.

Lobanjica also spoke about the technical issues in the organization of the RMR tournament. In particular, he talked about access to the Internet during matches and other nuances, which MESA missed.

When we arrived we didn't have a configuration day at all and were told to do it next day before the first game. A coach from a different team didnt have working PC in the pracc room for the duration of the whole event. During the tournament all 5 PC's when we were sitting on them had internet. We had every game 5-10% loss, situations where you wouldn't hear a flash pop (as d0cc told me), as well as the last day our PC's had 170-200 fps.

Mijomanović mentioned other shortcomings as well. He was dissatisfied with the rudeness of the BLAST administration staff, as well as information about the players who allegedly had COVID-19.

Twisted Minds secured fourth place at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Asia RMR. During the tournament, the roster bested VERTEX and Eruption.
