Rumors: Monte to sign AZUWU and kakafu
According to unconfirmed information, 21-year-old British esports athlete Oscar "AZUWU" Bell will become a new member of Monte's Counter-Strike 2 roster. This was reported by the author of the Telegram channel Gromov. According to the insider, the Ukrainian club will also sign Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk as the team's coach.
AZUWU's previous team was SAW – he represented it from February to June of this year. Szymanczyk, in turn, served as an assistant coach at BIG from February to May last year, after which he temporarily took over as the squad's head coach. In March 2025, he departed BIG's Counter-Strike 2 lineup, while in June he became a free agent.
At the moment, Monte's roster occupies 72nd place in the official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. Last month, the organization parted ways with two players – Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss and Vladyslav "leen" Stepanov.
