Virtus.pro and Astralis win debut matches at IEM Cologne 2025
First playday of the prestigious IEM Cologne 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament has ended in Cologne, Germany, with eight squads getting one step closer to advancing to the next stage of the tournament.
FURIA, Astralis, Virtus.pro, GamerLegion, NIP, 3DMAX, Liquid and FaZe emerged victorious from the first round of the Play-In matchups – tomorrow they will compete for four tickets to the group stage of the event. Accordingly, FlyQuest, B8, TYLOO, Complexity, HEROIC, MIBR, paiN and BIG dropped to the lower bracket.
Notably, the eight strongest Play-In rosters will advance to the group stage, where they will be joined by eight more invitees. Detailed information about the event can be found in our article.
