vilga on Nigma Galaxy’s main goal: "We are trying to compete at the same level with good male teams"

Nigma Galaxy esports athlete Ksenia "vilga" Kluenkova spoke at the Spill the CT podcast about her roster’s main goal, which is, according to the Russian, not limited to success at the female CS:GO scene but lies in competing on equal terms with good male teams.

The thing is that the goal for our team is not just to be the best team in the world in the female gaming. It’s been a long time since we are trying to do everything to achieve this goal of being able to compete at the same level with good male teams. For us, playing ESL Impact and other female tournaments, of course, is important, and it means a lot to win them. It is just that we really want to get to that goal that I have just mentioned. Basically, we are practicing not to win the female tournaments, but to start showing results in the male gaming. That’s how it works in our minds.

Nigma Galaxy is the undisputed leader of CS:GO’s female professional scene. Since the creation of the roster in 2021, they have won all the tournaments, which they competed at.

Female team’s success was marked by several invites to men's tier 2 tournaments, where they did not achieve any significant results. Also, Nigma Galaxy’s members have received invites to FPL Challenger, FACEIT’s second highest level league system.
