Rumors: Astralis want to sign Staehr from Sprout; offer Farlig in trade

Astralis are interested in signing Sprout's Victor "Staehr" Staehr, Jaxon.gg reports.

Journalists have learned that the Danish club intends to trade Staehr for sniper Asger "Farlig" Jensen. According to the source, Sprout will not release Steer for a low price, as they understand that Astralis are limited in choosing players from their country.

18-year-old Staehr has been a part of Sprout since the beginning of 2022. Recently, he, along with his squad, qualified for IEM Rio Major 2022, which is why his potential transfer can take place no earlier than mid-November once the Major is over.

The information about Astralis' interest in Staehr was made public the day after the announcement of the Danish team's rebuilding phase, which began with the benching of coach Martin "trace" Heldt. Previously, the club also parted ways with Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke.

According to rumors, Astralis' renewed roster may feature Nicolai "device" Reedtz, who has a valid contract with NIP and has been inactive for unknown medical reasons for the last ten months. It was reported that the clubs had already agreed on the amount of the star AWPer's transfer and now the player is negotiating the terms of a personal agreement with the Danish organization.
