NIP and Vitality advance to semifinal of IEM Katowice 2022 Group A upper bracket

NIP and Vitality have won the opening matches of the group stage at IEM Katowice 2022. The Swedish team turned out to be stronger than Gambit (16:13 on Ancient, 11:16 on Vertigo and 16:8 on Overpass), while the French-Danish squad came out on top of MOUZ (22:19 on Vertigo, 17:19 on Inferno and 16:10 on Nuke).

In the semifinal of the Group A upper bracket, NIP will face Virtus.pro, while Vitality will take on Heroic. The defeated Gambit and MOUZ will play elimination against Copenhagen Flames and OG, respectively. All the four confrontations will take place tomorrow, February 18.
