Falcons eliminate G2 from BLAST Open Porto 2026

Another team has finished their run at BLAST Open Porto 2026, the finals of which are taking place in Portugal.

In the first round of the playoffs, G2 lost to Falcons 0-2 (6:13 on Inferno, 9:13 on Dust2) and left the competition.

Falcons advanced to the bracket semi-finals, where they will face Team Spirit in a battle for a spot in the BLAST Open Porto 2026 final. G2, for their part, finished 5th-6th in the event and earned $20,000 in prizes.

The organizers of BLAST Open Porto 2026 have one more match scheduled for today: FURIA will fight Vitality in a match for a spot in the top four of the competition. The match kicks off at 7:30 PM CEST and will be best-of-three. The semi-finals will take place on September 5.
