br0 finds new team
Astralis' former member Alexander "br0" Bro has joined the North American Counter-Strike 2 team NRG. The organization announced this via its X social media account.
The 22-year-old Danish esports athlete replaced Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, who represented NRG since November 2023. The American's average rating over the past three months amounted to 1.09 (in 39 maps).
Note that Bro competed for Astralis at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMR – he replaced Nicolai "device" Reedtz, who missed the competition due to health issues. At the same time, br0 was excluded from the active roster of Astralis back in September of this year – then the club signed Casper "cadiaN" Møller in his place. In December, Astralis finally announced parting ways with Alexander.
NRG did not attend any LAN events in 2024, with the exception of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 Americas RMR, where the team finished last. The roster currently occupies 48th place in HLTV ranking.
NRG are now:
Josh "oSee" Ohm
Jadan "HexT" Postma
Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott
Nick "nitr0" Cannella
Alexander "br0" Bro
Damian "daps" Steele (coach)
