device returns to Astralis; br0 departs club

Danish esports organization Astralis has revealed the return of Nicolai "device" Reedtz to the active Counter-Strike 2 roster of the club. The announcement was published on Astralis' official website.

After taking time to focus on his physical and mental well-being, device is now fully ready to rejoin the team and bring his remarkable skillset, knowledge and commitment back to the server.

Starting in early 2025, when the team regroups after the holidays, device will be back in action – motivated, focused, and determined to make an impact. We can't wait to see him back in the Astralis jersey, ready to help move the team forward.

Note that Reedtz missed the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMR due to exacerbated health issues caused by stress. He was replaced by Alexander "br0" Bro, who was removed from the team's staring five back in September of this year – then the club signed Casper "cadiaN" Møller in his place. As a result, Astralis placed 9th-11th at the tournament and did not qualify for the Major.

Moreover, Astralis announced parting ways with br0 – the parties mutually agreed to terminate the contract. The Dane represented the club since March of this year. As of now, the team occupies 10th place in HLTV ranking.

 Astralis are now:

 Viktor "Staehr" Staehr
 Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
 Martin "stavn" Lund
 Casper "cadiaN" Møller
Nicolai "device" Reedtz

 Casper "ruggah" Due (coach)
