Only two IGLs showed up for media day ahead of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024

The in-game leaders of almost all the teams that will participate in the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 Counter-Strike 2 tournament intentionally skipped the media day. Only Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov and Casper "cadiaN" Møller did not support the boycott.

Accordingly, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, Finn "karrigan" Andersen, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen and Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski did not show up for the photo shoot before the start of the event.

Note that the esports athletes made this decision as a protest due to the replacement of Alexander "br0" Bro with cadiaN in the Astralis roster, which may violate the competition regulations. More about this can be found in our article.

BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 will be held from September 25 to 29 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The total prize pool of the competition will amount to $425,000 – it will be divided between eight rosters. The strongest squad will also receive a ticket to BLAST Premier World Final 2024.
