cadiaN takes over as new Astralis IGL

Danish esports club Astralis has revealed a replacement in its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The official announcement was published on the organization's X social media account.

The new member of the team is Casper "cadiaN" Møller, who has been on Liquid's bench for the past three months. The Dane replaced Alexander "br0" Bro, who represented Astralis since March of this year. The club benched the latter. Møller will take on the duties of the team's in-game leader, which were previously carried out by Nicolai "device" Reedtz.

Note that Astralis failed at the current season of ESL Pro League – the squad won only one match out of four in the group stage and took 21st-28th place at the event. Before that, the team placed 9th-12th at IEM Cologne 2024, entered the top 6 at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 and BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024.

As of now, Astralis occupies 13th place in the ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams according to HLTV.org. The roster received a direct invite to the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMR.

 Astralis are now:

 Nicolai "device" Reedtz
 Viktor "Staehr" Staehr
 Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
 Martin "stavn" Lund
Casper "cadiaN" Møller

 Casper "ruggah" Due (coach)
