Gizmy returns to Monte academy

Monte unveiled changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen has been demoted back to the club's youth roster. The official announcement was published on social media accounts. The esports athlete himself called this decision "fair".

Note that the Briton joined Monte's main roster along with Gytis "ryu" Glušauskas in March of this year – they replaced Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev and Alexander "br0" Bro.

Before getting promoted to the main team, Gizmy spent over four months at Monte's academy. Notably, Glušauskas was also returned to the academy roster a few days ago.

The organization has not yet revealed the players who will fill the vacant positions in the lineup. According to insider Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich, Monte is interested in signing Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen, who is currently a free agent.

Monte placed 13th-16th at ESL Pro League Season 19 and received $17,500 in prize money. The team lost to FaZe in the first round of the playoffs. Monte will play their next match on May 16 at the online tournament Elisa Invitational Spring 2024. The squad will also compete at IEM Dallas 2024, which kicks off at the end of the month.

 Monte are now:

 Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk
 Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko
 Szymon "kRaSnaL" Mrozek

 Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov (coach)
