Rumors: Monte may replace Gizmy after defeat at ESL Pro League Season 19

European team Monte is considering the possibility of making a change in its CS2 roster after an unsuccessful performance at ESL Pro League Season 19. Insider Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich reported this via his Telegram channel.

According to Radvilovich, Monte is interested in signing Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen, who is currently a free agent. The Dane's previous team was Preasy/ex-Preasy – he represented it until mid-April of this year.

According to harumi, roeJ will replace Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen, who moved to Monte in March 2024 from the club's youth roster.

Monte placed 13th-16th at ESL Pro League Season 19, receiving $17,000 in prize money. The team lost to FaZe in the first round of the playoffs.

 Monte are now:

 Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk
 Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko
 Szymon "kRaSnaL" Mrozek
 Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen
 Gytis "ryu" Glušauskas

 Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov (coach)
