FaZe and C9 through to Thunderpick World Championship 2023 playoffs; NIP and Wildcard out

FaZe and Cloud9 advanced to the playoffs of Thunderpick World Championship 2023. The second playday of the tournament saw Russian team defeating Virtus.pro (5:13 on Vertigo, 13:6 on Ancient and 13:8 on Anubis), and Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad besting Monte (13:9 on Mirage and 13:8 on Nuke).

At the same time, NIP and Wildcard suffered their second losses in the group stage, having been eliminated from the tournament. While the Ninjas lost to fnatic (6:13 on Ancient and 14:16 on Inferno), the North American team fell to SAW (13:9 on Anubis, 4:13 on Nuke and 6:16 on Ancient).

Tomorrow, October 29, Thunderpick World Championship 2023 will continue with four matches: at 11:00 CET fnatic and Virtus.pro will compete for a playoff ticket from Group A, at 14:00 CET and 17:00 CET Team Spirit – Complexity and MOUZ – M80 matches will play out, respectively, in Group C, and at 20:00 CET SAW and Monte will fight for a spot in the decisive stage of the event from Group B.
