Abay "HObbit" Khassenov took on the role of Cloud9's IGL for the duration of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2023 Europe. Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy shared this information in a conversation with the event organizers.

Perfecto did not disclose what exactly caused the change of roles, since Denis "electroNic" Sharipov was previously the team's in-game leader. However, Zalutskiy noted that the roster is trying to change its play on some maps.

Notably, this news comes shortly after information appeared online about the imminent transfer of Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov to Cloud9. At the same time, he will replace Khasenov.
