STYKO departs Apeks
Norwegian organization Apeks announced via its official website parting ways with Martin "STYKO" Styk. The Slovak has been competing for the team since January 2022.
Together with the roster, Styk won a number of online tournaments, and also reached the semi-finals of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
The Slovak esports athlete explained on his YouTube channel that the departure was initiated by the organization. The low level of player's individual performance became the reason for parting ways.
Note that STYKO missed the recent CCT East Europe Series 2. Ådne "sense" Fredriksen replaced him in the lineup. At the same time, the organization announced that the young Norwegian will compete for Apeks at the upcoming IEM Sydney 2023, which will kick off in the middle of the month.
Apeks' current lineup is:
Tim "nawwk" Jonasson
Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad
Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski
Aleksandar "CacaNito" Kjulukoski
Edne "sense" Fredriksen
Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg (coach)
