Vitality is third team to earn $1 million in prize money in 2023

Vitality became the third representative of the pro scene to earn $1 million in prize money in 2023, according to the statistics provided by Liquipedia.

Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's squad recently won Gamers8 2023, securing $400,000 in prizes. In addition, in less than eight months, the team also won IEM Rio 2023 and Paris Major 2023, earning a total of $1.285 million.

Notably, FaZe still holds the lead in terms of the amount of prize money earned, as in March the roster secured ESL Pro League Season 17 title, due to which it was awarded $1 million for winning Intel Grand Slam S3. In total, the team earned $1.41 million in 2023.

The third place is now occupied by G2, which earned $1.011 million due to victories at the IEM tournaments in Katowice and Cologne.
