zonic will not help Vitality at Gamers8 2023

Vitality will compete at Gamers8 2023 without coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen, who will miss the tournament for personal reasons, as the club announced via their social media accounts.

During the event, zonic's assistant Mathieu "MaT" Leber will take on the role of coach. Psychologist Lars Robl and roster's manager Matthieu Péché also went to Saudi Arabia, where the tournament will take place.

Gamers8 2023 will take place from August 16 to 20. Sixteen participants will compete in a Single Elimination format for a prize pool of $1 million.

Vitality will kick off the event with a match against MIBR tomorrow, August 16 at 16:30 CET. The winner of this match will face the best team from the NAVI – FURIA matchup, while the loser will get eliminated from the tournament.
