Cloud9 oust GamerLegion and climb to No. 7 in HLTV.org ranking

HLTV.org weekly ranking update saw Cloud9 climbing to 7th place, which was the most significant change this week. The Denis "electroNic" Sharipov-led roster moved up one position and ousted GamerLegion to No. 8.

Another notable change is Monte climbing to 13th place, which was previously occupied by Apeks. Outside the top 15, TheMongolz, SAW, BIG, and Aurora showed marginal progress, while 9z, OG, and Into the Breach dropped a few positions

Notably, compared to the previous week, Team Spirit roster, which was updated during the off-season, entered the top 30, having ousted Grayhound. After the reshuffle, the Dragons won CCT North Europe Series 6 and took second place at CCT 2023 Online Finals 2, which allowed them to become one of the thirty strongest teams in the world.

HLTV.org's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results of the last two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also considered, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
