FalleN and Cloud9 are most mentioned player and team at IEM Cologne 2023 broadcasts

The analytical service Esports Charts has prepared statistics on the most mentioned players and teams in the Twitch chat of the recent IEM Cologne 2023. FURIA's AWPer Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and the Russian team Cloud9 turned out to be the leaders in their respective categories.

The Brazilian was mentioned in the live chat 9,383 times. Despite the unsuccessful performance of FURIA, which secured 17th-20th place and failed to advance to the group stage, the esports athlete overtook the closest runner-up, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, by almost 2,000 mentions.

Cloud9 was the leader among the teams, as the roster's tag appeared in the live chat 56,196 times. The top 3 also included G2 and FURIA, which were mentioned 41,586 and 31,535 times, respectively.

IEM Cologne 2023 took place from July 26 to August 6 in Cologne, Germany. G2 won the tournament by defeating ENCE in the final.
