Rare Atom players depart club after failed negotiations over new contracts
Chinese organization Rare Atom took it to Twitter to announce parting ways with all their players. This happened due to unsuccessful negotiations on contracts renewal.
Rare Atom was unable to reach an agreement on new contracts with the roster, after which the players entered free agency. At the same time, the club intends to return to the professional scene with a new team and has already begun the process of its formation.
Rare Atom's former lineup have been performing together since May 2022 and during this time they have competed mainly at the regional scene, but at the same time managed to qualify for several international events. In particular, the team secured the penultimate place at ESL Pro League Season 17 and the last place at BLAST Premier Spring European Showdown 2023.
Notably, earlier the Asian team secured a ticket to the next season of ESL Pro League. The prestigious tournament will take place from August 30 to October 1 in Malta, featuring a prize pool of $850,000.
