ENCE through to IEM Cologne 2023 playoffs; FaZe debut with victory over NIP

ENCE secured the first ticket to the IEM Cologne 2023 playoffs, defeating fnatic with a scoreline of 2:0 – 16:13 on Overpass and 16:11 on Nuke. At the same time, FaZe successfully debuted in the group stage, besting NIP with a scoreline of 2:1 – 14:16 on Mirage, 16:5 on Overpass and 16:7 on Nuke.

Due to this victory, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer's squad advanced to the final of Group A, where they will face the winner of the match between Heroic and Monte for a spot in the semi-finals. In turn, fnatic dropped to the lower bracket, where they will continue to compete for a ticket to the playoffs.

After debuting with a victory, FaZe advanced to the semi-finals of Group B, where the team will face G2. Also, the Swedish roster NIP dropped to the lower bracket to compete against Astralis tomorrow, July 31.
