ENCE and G2 secure first victories in group stage of IEM Cologne 2023

ENCE and G2 secured their first victories in the group stage of IEM Cologne 2023, as in the quarter-finals of the upper bracket, the Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer-led roster bested 9INE (4:16 on Vertigo, 16:11 on Nuke and 19:15 on Mirage), while the Samurai defeated Astralis (12:16 on Ancient, 16:13 on Inferno and 16:9 on Nuke).

Due to these victories, ENCE and G2 advanced to the semi-finals of their groups. Tomorrow, July 30, ENCE will face fnatic, while G2 will compete against the winner of the match between FaZe and NIP, which will take place on Monday, July 31.

In turn, 9INE and Astralis dropped to the lower bracket, where they will get another chance to secure a berth at the tournament playoffs.
