Complexity trial former Cloud9 coach

Former Cloud9 coach James "JamezIRL" Macaulay is on trial with Complexity, which invited him to try out a role of an assistant to team's coach Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen, as the manager of the North American roster, Graham "messioso" Pitt, announced via his Twitter account.

JamezIRL is a 34-year-old American who kicked off his esports career in 2015 as Cloud9's analyst, after which he led the Ghost's roster. In 2019, he returned to Cloud9 as a coach, but after seven months he moved to a similar position in the club's Valorant division. Over the following three years, Macaulay also represented 100 Thieves and S2G in Riot's shooter.

At the moment, Complexity does not have an assistant coach. At the end of May, the club parted ways with analyst Anton "AntO_oNNN" Van Gorp, who has been working there since 2019.

JamezIRL's trial period at Complexity became known after the team's successful debut in the new competitive season. The North Americans defeated NIP in Group A at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 and tomorrow, July 15, at 15:00 CET, they will face Vitality for a ticket to the final of the BLAST autumn season.
